Former NY Giant Jailed again on Rape Charges

What the F@#K!  David Meggett a former special teams stand out and eventual wide receiver for the NY Giants, Jet and New England patriots was jailed last Wednesday on rape charges alleged by a 21 year old woman that woke up to find a guy she only knew as “Mike” hovering over her bed.

The former NFL player demanded that she pay him $200 bucks she owed him, when she couldn’t pay him, he decided it was a good thing to rape her.  Then say he was sorry.  Are you f@#kin’ kidding me?  “I’m sorry I raped you, now drive yourself to the hospital and I’ll meet you there”.

Meggett actually met the woman at the hospital where she identified him as the assailent and the police appropriatly arrested and brought him to Charleston County Jail.  He was apparently out on bond for another rape charge.  Oh…and BTW he is also serving two years probation for another sexual assault.

The funny part of this whole story is that I knew David Meggett from hanging out in the late 80’s  and early 1990’s.  We all used to hang out at a popular semi-mobbed up bar/club called Just in Time Cafe.  Meggett was a regular and so was my crew.  This guy was always getting into trouble with very young women but his stupidity didn’t come to a head until 1990 when he was arrested while playing for the Giants for soliciting sex from an undercover cop.

It was always evident  he thought that because he was a professional football player every woman he came in contact should have sex with him.  He had gotten into several altercations with boyfriends and friends of women regarding his sexual advances in the bar and was later banned.

His professional football career ended in 1998 after he was charged again with sexual assault while playing for the New England Patriots.  The Charges were dropped but the Patriots obviously saw the writing on the wall and released Meggett of his playing duties.

You see the headlines almost on a daily basis that tell of an unfortunate reality, professional athletes believing that they are owed something and are above the law.  Hopefully David will be incarcerated for a very long time and will see this as a wake up call for him to get a grip on his dysfunctional view of women.  If not then rot in f@#kin’ jail you idiot!

When did toilet paper remnants on your ass become such a problem

When it comes to marketing I know that finding a niche for you product is essential but I think the advertising company that P & G uses for the creative on their Charmin bathroom tissue may have lost it’s collective mind.

I remember when Charmin was squeezable soft with Mr. Wipple and his merry band of housewives that paraded by and that was something to promote…Charmin’s bathroom tissue was soft on your ass when you needed to wipe it. Pretty strong promotion.

I bought Charmin because I thought it was softer than all the rest.

If you watch the news like I do in the morning you are bombarded with this idiotic cartoon of a father bear coaching his little boy bear at football and when the father bear goes to take the hike from his son, he’s appalled to see that there are pieces of toilet tissue on his son’s ass.

Since when has toilet tissue particles on children’s bottoms become such an agonizing problem that the issue needs to be addressed by P & G and that Charmin Bathroom Tissue was going to be it’s champion.

I don’t think I have ever witnessed my toilet paper falling apart when I was wiping my ass even when I was down to a single sheet and I had to ration it.

I believe that the minds at P & G and Charmin’s “Brand Managers” can come up with a better reason to buy their product than “it doesn’t leave pieces of tissue behind on your behind”

The Worst Hosting Platform Known to Man…and the internet

If you where wondering what the worst hosting platform was for installing a Word Press or really any web platform. It is definitely http://site5.com.

I have one client that decided it was a good idea to go with one of these “cheapy” web hosting companies and it has turned out to be the biggest nightmare i have ever experienced.

they have so many default or basic file folders added to the directory that it makes them look stupid.

I finally was able to gain access via FTP after 4 “support” e-mails and they never really answered my questions. It was weird.

So I uploaded Word Press 2.7 into the public_html folder and configured the config.php file and went to install the blog and…nothing.

All it keep saying was “website not found”. Here’s the deal…if you design a hosting site, it needs to make installing Word Press easy not hard! Or else you will be out of business…sooner than later.

Site5.com…get your shit together or…go out of business…I really don’t care which
